TSH Levels Hypothyroidism in Pregnancy can certainly
cause significant adversarial health effects to both the mother and the baby.
Pregnant women who are suffering from maternal hypothyroidism in early stage of
pregnancy have a higher risk of experiencing miscarriage. Thyroid problems
during the early stage of pregnancy may also increase the risk of having pre-eclampsia and infant death at birth.
Maternal hypothyroidism also causes
unborn baby’s developmental delays. A baby whose mother suffered from
hypothyroidism during the course of pregnancy tends to have lower intelligence
